Common Questions

Can you add my city? We’re expanding coverage regularly. If your city has Zillow ZHVI data available, we can likely add it. Send us the city and state and we’ll look into it.

Where does your data come from? All housing data comes from the Zillow Home Value Index (ZHVI). Population data comes from the US Census Bureau. See our About page for more details.

How often is data updated? Reports are regenerated monthly when Zillow publishes updated ZHVI data, typically in the first week of each month.

I found an error in a report. Please email us with the city name and what looks incorrect. We’ll investigate and correct it.
